Just Love

Escalate Affection

From a proposal on top of Eiffel Tower to a romantic cruise on the river Seine to spotting ‘I love you’ in your language on The Wall of Love, to stunning alleys where love strolls hand-in-hand every day, France is where love is in the air, quite literally. And it’s not just couples who bask in love here, it’s the pets too. The French love their furry friends as much as they love their humans, if not more. Exactly why, when it comes to their food, nothing less than ‘Just Love’ will do.

France & Animals

A Love Affair Like No Other

One of the first countries to pass an Animal Protection Law in the 1850’s, France is famous for romancing its pets, so much so that the country has twice as many pets as there are children.

A pioneer in animal welfare, the French take much pride in their pets and love to spoil them silly. Don’t be surprised if you see cute little dogs being fed directly from plates on a table next to yours. With a population of 2.1 million, there is one dog for every seven Parisians and wherever they go their dogs accompany them, be it restaurants, shops or public places.

France is the European country that has the highest number of pets.

In 1976, France passed an animal welfare law that recognizes feelings of pet animals and the French leave no stone unturned to make their pets feel loved.

A dog will teach you unconditional love. If you can have that in your life, things won't be too bad.
